Still pretty desperate for an answer to the question above, but while we're waiting:

When using Fog of War, why are even the player ratings on the profile page hidden from the guys in my league?

But then when I'm logged in as commish, it looks like this:

I thought Fog of War only removed the 'Ratings' tab, which you can see IS grayed out in (although not showing when I the commissioner looks at it???).

For what it's worth, neither I nor any other guys have scouting reports for anyone which is fine because we can go scout for ourselves, but I'm just not sure why I'm (commish) the only one seeing these basic ratings.

My 2015 Canucks had a rash of goalie injuries, and now I'm down to one goalie, and the game won't play past it. I tried to pick up a goalie on Free Agency, but that's still pending. How do I get the game to move past the next exhibition game?

Another quick question: I can't get a handle on scouting. I wanted to scout a number of free agents before bringing them on, so I tried the right click assign a scout (yes, I changed management option to me, not the assistant), but it didn't work (no scouts came up, even after I had freed some up from their assignments). So next, I tried to just get scouts to scout the shortlist, and added the free agents I was interested in, to the shortlist. I kept getting shortlist reports with "no interesting players"...how do I get my scouts to scout the people I want them to?

Switching your Roster Moves and Transactions settings in Manager Options to your assistant should get him to fix it for you when you advance a day.

If they're free agents, there's nothing for the scout to look at, since they're not playing games - if I remember correctly, the scouting routines need the player to be in a league somewhere to scout him.

Yeah, it should probably be showing them for everybody - that's kind of the point of those screens, give a very vague indicator of ability when you can't see the specific attributes. I'll see if we can change that.

Really? I thought the point of having Fog of War on was that it was a 'ratings-less' mode... So why would users be able to see some ratings? Those ratings should be blank as far as I'm concerned. That's always how I had understood Fog of War working - you don't get player ratings, and have to rely on stats and scouting reports.

What's more alarming to me is the commish can see them in Fog of War. It makes sense I suppose, but also needs to be changed so there's balance if the commish is in fact running a team as well.

Agreed. This seems like a rather important fix for online leagues or else the Commish GM will always have an unfair advantage.

The teams from the DEL these settings are not even comprehend, too.

Regarding two exhibition games in one day - this DOES happen in real life, but in a 'split squad' format.

For instance, the Toronto Maple Leafs played two games against the Ottawa Senators on Monday, September 21, 2015. One game in Ottawa, the other in Toronto.

So it can happen - not often, and usually very early in the preseason when the first cuts haven't taken place yet.

While I haven't seen this happen to me in FHM, it's not a bad idea to have this feature, really, provided the rosters are able to be divided properly.

Did you change the team control settings (in Manager Options) for those things back to your control? In GM-only mode they default to the assistant, so the computer will handle them for you.

Yes, please! That would be great! We really like this "middle ground" of just the Ratings tab inactive. Obviously we'd like all GMs to be able to see the profile ratings though!

Yes. Might I recommend 3 modes for this:

Fog of War: Off (Ratings tab activated)
Fog of War: On (Ratings tab deactivated)
Stats Only Mode: No ratings available.
