This was a tough loss due to the opposing pitcher as Brooklyn lost 6-5 to the Reds.

Pat Moran had a good day, going 2 for 5 with 3 RBI.

The Reds won 2-1.

It took 12 innings but the Phillies were able to sneak past the Superbas, winning 7-6.

Roy Thomas set a new NL record but getting 6 hits in the game.

Pat Moran got his second homer of the year.

Eddie Plank struggled a bit in his Brooklyn debut, but the boys with the lumber bailed him out as the Superbas beat the Beaneaters 12-5.

Pat Clinch was named hitter of the month in AAA.
Frank Murphy was hitter of the month in AA.

A back-and-forth game went to 12 but Brooklyn fell 5-4 to the Reds.

Both Bill Bradley and Sam Crawford hit homers! It was Bradley's second and Crawford's first!

Sam Mertes got a walk-off RBI single in the ninth, aided by a Eugene Carter throwing error, to score pinch-hitter Cesar Gonzalez from first base. Brooklyn beat the Reds 5-4.
