Jake Beckley hit the first homer of the year for Brooklyn while going 3 for 5 with 4 RBI. The Superbas beat the Giants 7-3.

Gene Wright left the game with an injury. That is not what we needed to hear right after trading Bill Donovan.

Gene Wright's sore elbow is sending him to the DL... hopefully for the minimum time.

Jake Beckley was named NL Player of the Week, after hitting .529 with a homer and 6 RBI.

Buck Freeman of the Americans won for the AL.

The Superbas slipped to #11 on the weekly power rankings.

Colin Davis was called up to take Wright's roster spot.

Colin Davis had a rough first start, but the Brooklyn bullpen shut the Beaneaters downy he rest of the way, giving the Superbas a chance to catch up and get the 6-5 win.

Bill Bradley went 2 for 5 with 2 RBI.
