How to add Minor League fillers for expansion team?

I am in a first season expansion and after 4 games it is telling me my rosters are not full. Do I need to go sign free agents to fill those spots? OR can the game generate fillers?

And one other question, I signed Rod Barajas to a 1 year deal to be my back up C but he is not appearing anywhere in my roster. Any suggestions on finding him?

Minor league players...
1) You can turn on Ghost Players in your league options. It allows teams to play with incomplete rosters. I prefer this option.
2) You can sign minor league players in bulk. On the FA screen you will see a dot to the left of the players name. You sleect multiple players, right click one and actions you can take show up in a drop down menu. Select offer minor league contract and wait for them to respond.
3) I believe you can fill a team with fictional players. I could be wrong, you may only be able to fill a league (ML, AAA, AA, etc).

Missing Free Agent
Go to your Transaction Tab, on that screen you can change the info displayed in the boxes by clicking on the Title of the box. A drop down menu appers, select Designate for Assignment. He should be there.

Use search mode to find missing player(s).


In commish mode-you can automatically fill rosters will fictional players on the league set-up page.

If you just signed Barajas to a Major League deal, he should be in the "Designated For Assignment" section of the transactions screen.
