That's a great pitching staff. The lineup is somewhat underwhelming though. How did you get Chapman and Price?

Reminds me of the 2005 (fixed typo helps to actually read my posts before hitting submit) White Sox to a degree. Low average high power great SP. White Sox were a fluke, but we still have more World Series victories then the Cubs do in the last 105 yrs.

Man that is a good pitching staff. This is the sort of team I would end up building, can never have enough pitching.

I can't speak to the other rosters that you've put together, but that lineup is not particularly impressive, with Howard and Utley hitting like they are well over the hill and into their decline phases.
I assume The Game meant the 2005 White Sox, who actually won the World Series. 2006 went to the Cardinals. |

Gamel and Brown have impressed, and I think Howard is slow starting. Utley is an OK offensive player, but whay you are not seeing is his defense. He's one of the top 5 2B for WAR.
EDIT: I feel it's a good enough lineup with that pitching staff. What you don't realize about Gamel, is he hit 52 homeruns the previous year. I traded for him. He's not the best defensive #B, but he is a serious power threat. I would like to move him to !B, but Howard is there. In the last 2-3 games, Brown hit another HR and his AVG has jumped 10 points. Well, the 2006 White Sox did hit a ton of HRs. And won 90 games. Still finished 3rd though. And couldnt do much of anything in September. Pretty used to that......2012 was like watching the same movie for the 50th time.

Hey, wait a minute... didn't Ruben Amaro put together a large chunk of that team?
