GMO...can I bother you again?!?!?
GMO, first of all let me thank you for the schedules you put together for me already (for my college and HS league!) They are perfect and the league is doing great!!!
I am now looking to start a new league within my fictional universe that will be located in Canada. Could you tweak the 10-team college schedule you have done for me as well as the High School schedule 10 team (2 - division of 5 teams each) that will start in March instead of October? Thanks for all your work!!! You have made my experience awesome!!!! |

Assuming all you want is the same schedule just starting at a different time, you can do that yourself in a text editor like Notepad or Wordpad. Just open the file, on the SCHEDULE line at the top change the start_month="10" to start_month="3" to have it begin rather than in October in March. You can then save the file with a different name, like instead of "a1" at the end of the filename having "a2" or "b1".
Do not save it with such a similar filename in your OOTP/data/schedules folder if that is where you put the previous file. What the game does is cycle through schedules that match the format for a given league. So if you have the October-starting and March-starting files in that schedules folder so that the game can load them automatically, it will one year load up the October and the next year the March. If however you just have the files saved some random place on your computer and loaded them manually into the league that will not cause a problem. Have I confused you here? Let me know if that does not make sense, or if you meant something else for the new schedule. Btw, opening day in Canada in early March?! |
