Continental Baseball League
Two men met in a local pub on the main drag of Boston's East Side. The two came together out of common interest of a new pastime called baseball.
Both had seen action in the Civil War during recuperation time from being wounder during the battle of Cold Harbor in 1864. Part of their recuperation was to toss around a cork ball and to see if they could hit it. Soon more and more soldiers were taking up this new therapy and before the nurses knew it the wounded were back on the front lines. These two men soon had an idea to expand on what they had experienced and thus this meeting was being held. After arriving the men were seated when another joined them. The three of them were working on a set of rules on their new endeavor. The third man opened up his coat and laid down on the table a proposal. The meeting ended with a financial plan being drawn up as well the league structure

The purpose of this league is to sort of mimic the original start of baseball in 1871. The same area and with my rules and such. What is would have been like if
history did not go down as planned. I will be taking over the Hartford Dark Blues

The month of April is in the books.
Worcester looks to be running away while Hartford is fading fast. Highlights: Garrett Robinson (WOR) tosses the first shut out. A 3-0 win over Hartford. Travis Jones (WOR) leads all hitters with his .406 BA Kyle Creelman (WOR) and Elijah Sampson (WOR) each homer. Hartford has lost 5 straight
