Your shortstop definately had a tough inning 3 consecutive errors. How is his fielding stats?

He's not that bad with the glove actually. He has a range of 8 (out of 10) and a fielding percentage of .958.
To update, the game ended with a bit of an interesting twist. He hit a 3-run homer in the bottom of the 9th (one run for each error!) which would've tied us right back up at 5 if one of my relievers hadn't given up 4 runs in the top of the inning. He's not even that much of a power hitter. I guess he just felt really bad about the whole thing. So I'm not mad at him anymore. I can't say the same about the reliever though.......

OUCH! Was your shortstop playing his position with a machete?

What's interesting is that those three initial errors make it so that none of the runs are earned, since for the purposes of calculating earned runs, the errors were all would-be outs and the inning should have been over.
