Babe Ruth playing to 60+
Started a league in 1901 and have been simulating to modern day to build league history.
Made it to 1955 where a 60 year old Babe Ruth is not only playing, but dominating. He has 1400 Hrs, 24 MVPs and is currently leading the league with 46hrs and a .424/.556/.912 slash through 86 games. Surely this should never happen right? Last edited by shabagel; 04-06-2020 at 12:06 AM. |

In your league he must have given up the beer and hot dogs, and went on the Mediterranean diet.

Do you have player development turned off? If so, the ratings don't change.

Hoiles is right, if you disable development (or start your league as a "single season replay"), you'll have guys playing and dominating into their 70s

Can't agree on the hot dogs comment. We have a lady at church who turned 103 in December. She says her secret to longevity is that she never drinks soda pop and she does eat lots of hot dogs.
