Hmm, between the other aged MMA guys and Bill Laimbeer, this feels like it's definitely a vicious gauntlet and certainly not like padding his record with known weaklings....

As an aside, I'm actually also doing the reverse and making a version of Benny Leonard in WMMA. Since Leonard was really agile (looking at footage, some of his ducking movements make it seem like he could shoot for a takedown at any moment), and excellent in thought and preperation, I can see him being a viable strike-first MMA fighter if he had time to train for takedown defense and the ground game.

LOL - my champs justify these fights by claiming they're fighting world famous fighters & it's not their fault they just happen to be much better boxers.

Hey guys, I had a link saved to a post in which I was instructed as to how to take fighters from this site and install them in my boxing universe. But I lost the link in a browser crash, and it was left for me months ago, which will make it very time consuming to go back and find it. So can someone please repost the directions as to how it's done? Thank you in advance.

Hey I have a question about a fighter I noticed in the database. There's a HW name of Joe Cox who is rated the best possible ratings vs. KD, KO, TKO and cuts in spite of the fact that he was KO'ed 8 times in 27 fights.

So is there an updated rating for him? Is this another screw up in that really awful database the game inflicted on us?

Not sure why you're rating is screwed up, but here's the rating of him from my game (which is 2013)

Thanks. I'm using 2013 too, and tbh, I haven't even got a boxing universe up and running because the database is such a mess

. All I've done since I've had the game is go through the database, deleting messed up ratings of fighters I didn't think I'd need, and making a list of the guys I hope I'll be able to get replaced.

If at some point you reach the conclusion that TB 2013 is a poorly crafted mess, give TB 2.5 a try. Much more stable and fewer ratings anomalies.

I'm very willing to do it. I'm really upset with TB2013. I'll be honest with you, I've had the game for two years and I don't even have my boxing universe up and running, because I've spent that entire time cleaning up this database. One question, though: is 2.5 a later edition?

Nope. It's an earlier rendition created by a different team of programmers headed by Andreas Raht of OOTP fame. TB2013 is extremely forgettable.
