Copy the writeup and paste it in a post... I don't know how to include the photos... I save photos in Paint and attach them in the article...maybe someone else can tell you a better method than mine.

Brooklyn Dodgers Replay

I have been hired as the GM of the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1959. I have simmed 4 seasons, 1955-1958 to create some league history. I am playing stats only with no finances, trading on hard/neutral and a minor league system that includes AAA/AA/A/R. The draft will be feed by a college and a high school leagues only.
The American Baseball League is made up of the American and National League with 1 division of 8 teams in each. I have used the 1955 Major League team set-up so the American League consists of the Baltimore Orioles, Boston Red Sox, Chicago White Sox, Cleveland Indians, Detroit Tigers, Kansas City Royals, New York Yankees and the Washington Senators.
The National League will consist of the Brooklyn Dodgers, Chicago Cubs, Cincinnati Reds, Milwaukee Braves, New York Giants, Philadelphia Phillies, Pittsburgh Pirates and the St. Louis Cardinals.

The Dodgers
Welcome to Vero Beach, and to the famous Dodger Town. The Dodgers are ready to start Spring Training 1959 after coming off a 6th place finish(75-79). It was the 4th straight season for the Dodgers being in the 2nd division with their 1957 season being its best when they finished in 5th place.
Manager Diego Garcia will be starting his 5th season as the Dodger skipper but with a career 277-339 record with them, he will be on a very short rope. With this being my first year as a Major League GM, I brought in former Cincinnati Reds manager Andy Stephens to be my
assistant GM. Andy and the Reds finished 7th last year and the Reds made him available by not
renewing his contract. Andy grew up in Louisville, OH and was one of my good friends growing
up.

My biggest concern right now is how poorly the team hit last year. Although I would not tell him
this, our hitting coach Jason Gelles is on an even shorter rope than Garcia.
As I and Assistant GM Andy Stephens watch from the stands, manager Diego Garcia is seen
running his team thru their first full day of workouts.
Stephens and I go over the roster sheet and feedback that Garcia dropped off earlier in the day.
Lets get started?

CATCHING:
Josh Vera: The 25yr old Vera was the leagues #5 prospect in 1957. After being called up the
same year he hit just .210, he was given the starting job in 1958 and hit .221 in 107 games. He is
an average defender and our scouts think he may have been over estimated early in his career.
Josh Ruth: After starting for the Dodgers in 1955, 1956 and part of 1957, he has lost his job to
Vera despite hitting well. Garcia and I differ on our opinion as to who our starting catcher
should be.

Here are some other catching prospects in the organization:
#9 Rod Tapia(20)- Hit .256 in Rookie ball. Projected to have above average power. Solid
defender. 14th round pick out of HS in 1957. Tagged to start year in A ball.
#25 Josh Wilke(20)- 16th round pick in 1958. Will start year in Rookie ball.
#27 Dean Gallegos(19)-Drafted by the Cardinals in the 15th round in 1958, He came to the
Dodgers 2 days later for RF Brian Kah.(As a side note, Kah would go on to win a batting title for
the Cardinals in 1959.) Gallegos should start year in Rookie ball.

1ST BASEMAN:
Going into Spring Training, we have really no firstbaseman. Last season, Eddie McGregor and
Utility man Carlton Fox platooned but neither hit .200. Fox was an AS in 1957 with the Cardinals
before coming over in a trade. He then forgot how to hit. McGregor has some pop but has
never hit for average

3RDBASEMAN:
Kevin Brown(27) Former Rookie of the Year and batting champ in 1955, Brown is arguably our
best hitter. Not much power but a .312 career hitter who has led the league in hits twice.
Ricky Merino(28)- 4A type player who will struggle to hit but is a plus defender at 3B.
Matt Rosko(32)- See Ricky Merino except 4 years older and not quite as good defensivly.
Travis Anaya(21)- Hit .306 in 40 games in Rookie Ball and could be our 3B of the future. 6th
round pick in 1957.

SHORTSTOPS:
Keith Harrison(28)- Good reputation as a defender but has not been all that good thus far.
Strikes out to much also.

2NDBASEMAN:
John Dimoff(24)- Above average 2B in the league and is just 23yrs old. Hit .257 with 11HR as our
starting 2B. John was the #3 pick overall in the 1955 draft.

SP J.P. Carter- #16 prospect and former #1. Dodgers #1 prospect. Starts year on DL
SP Juan Ortiz- #21 prospect and Dodgers #2 prospect
SP Mike Criss- #37 prospect and Dodgers #3 prospect
SP Aaron Puckett- #45 prospect and Dodgers #4 prospect
SP Rich Ryan- #74 prospect and Dodgers #5 prospect
SP Brian Roupe(19)- #97 prospect and Dodgers #6 prospect.
SS Cody Balletta- Dodgers #7 prospect
SS Eric Barron- Dodgers #8 prospect- Will back up Balletta in Rookie ball.
