Historical Game Rain Outs

April 17th, 1959, Milwaukee Braves play host to Pittsburgh Pirates. The game is called in the top of the ninth inning tied 2-2 then. The note in Reference Sheet box score play-by-play states " 1 hour rain delay at 4:03 with 0-2 count on Roberto Clemente; game called to be made up in entirety.

My question is, if you're manually playing historical replay how can you cancel a game in OOTP15 so the result doesn't count in the standings but the players get credit for game stats?

You can't in 15, but OOTP 16 will have rain-outs.

What you're talking about is a tie game (in this case, one caused by weather as opposed to darkness, called by agreement or other reason). OOTP (neither 15 nor 16) can do tie games.

Does that meant that, in OOTP 16, a game will never be stopped by rain when the score is tied?

BTW, it would be swell if games set in the pre-electrified ballparks era could be called on account of darkness.

Now that I'm thinking along these lines, I've never seen a forfeit in OOTP. Are they possible? (Bear in mind that my life will not be empty without them.)

No, they are not. I have made the suggestion in the past that forfeits be included as part of what might be termed "team- and league-level" storylines. Currently storylines involve only players. But lots of interesting (though rare) things have happened at the team and league level in baseball's history, so it would be nice if such things could happen in OOTP as well.
