Idea for an Historical League

I've been playing Historical starting in 1908. I picked that year because of the close Cubs-Giants race, and I'm playing in the NL. What I do is 1) set injury to low; 2) dump all the players and schedule the inaugural draft--serpentine; 3) do the draft--usually just 25 rounds; 4) play the season fast--by month until injuries interrupt; 5) after that season jump ahead 5 years and repeat.

It's a neat way to get to know who the really good players were. The emphasis is on drafting. It's pretty easy to beat the 'droid teams, because they're not drafting with TOTAL BASEBALL in front of them.

It'd be great multiplayer if we could figure out some way to do the draft "live". Online Strat-o-matic over at Sporting News has a player developed site to do live drafting.

Has anybody experimented with live drafts in OOTP?
