Random events

I'm thinking about implementing some sort of random events to my CoB universe.

I was thinking about something simple like a diceroll for each fighter every month do decide if something happens to them or not. If somthing would happen i would do another diceroll to determine what happened (Illness, Accident, sudden retirement and other stuff).

Let's say that the dice would indicate an accident i would be required to make another dice roll to determine what kind of accident (sparring accident, car crash, slipped on banana peel) and what the consequence would be.

How do you simulate random events (if you do it at all)?

Any inputs are welcome.

Can't get it to work though. I just get a Excel worksheet with empty cells.

They should be word documents not excel ... look under misc. then Lee's event charts

I was going to say, I have one on excel that does the random die rolls for you if you want me to email it to you.
