Blockbuster Trade? CHW and TB
Ok, so I'm Tampa Bay in this trade, the date is December 10, 2014. I want to trade for Jose Abreu to build an all-star team for a probable one year championship push, and well, heres the possible trade:
TB Gets: 1B Jose Abreu CF Adam Eaton C Jose Barraza (MiLB) CHW Gets: 1B James Loney CF Kevin Kiermaier SS Riley Unroe (MiLB) C Nick Ciuffo (MiLB) Thoughts?

I don't know the prospects, but if I was TB based on the major leaguers, I would take that deal. Hard to find Abreu-level power today.

Imo, the White Sox wouldn't take that offer straight up for Abreu, much less throw in Eaton and Barraza.

There are only a couple of ways that this trade WOULD be remotely accepted: 1. There is NO scouting and just based on stats if all three of the SOX players are having horrendous years. 2. You are playing in Commish mode and you clicked on "Force Trade".
I have play as the Sox in a historical solo game and trying to dump payroll. Just messing around I once offered Sale, Abreu, and Garcia plus 750K for 2- 2 and 1-3 star prospects and was told by the other owner, NO WAY, that is a bad deal for us. |
