Best Setup for Career Historical Play

Can anyone tell me, with the new patch, what is the best way to set up a historical career league replay with real transactions and real rosters?

Simply choose real transactions when you set up your league. Real Lineups or not is a choice but the key is Real Transactions.

dont want to sound like the novice i am but ill ask anyways. if u turn on real transactions does that prevent you from introducing fictional players into your league or from making trades within your league other than the historic ones?

yes.

Richie Renard: 'Cause you give yourself up for the team?
Gil Renard: And it doesn't even count against your average. That's why baseball's better than life - it's fair.

but another ? along those lines...when the league expands n 93 and 98, how does that work? im guessing if u have real transactions on then the teams would draft the same players they actually did? or at least thats the ones that would populate the rosters?

Sorry to ask, but
when the Real Lineups are on what happends if the correct players are not on the team. They might be injured or not avalilable to play.

That´s is Real transaction AND Real lineups a must to work at all ???

Having part of a lineup made up with players that normally played that position could well be ruined if the AI must "fill" up the lineup with the mssing players. That surely can´t be good.

Everyone is available to play always, there are no injuries.

Sure hope that OOTP13 add the ability to limit the rosters to 25 players when using real lineups.
