Historical Fictional Finances
Something strange is going on when I try to create a new fictional league and set it in the past. When I import past finances, I get really weird numbers. For example, a league that starts in 1901, I get numbers like an average team revenue of over $78 million, ticket prices of $249, Super Star Quality salary of $770,000. It's all so strange. And I never had this problem before OOTP 20. Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm not in front of the game at the moment so terminology could be off a bit, but when you create the league and you go to the financials, there is a section where you can set a % of the financials compared to the year you've selected. Make sure you go and click to apply in there (even if you don't change the %). I constructed a 4 league pro/rel universe set in 1980, and forgot to apply that setting for my second lowest league, so that league had problems similar to what you're seeing while the other 3 leagues were fine. Hopefully that's all it is for you as well. |
