Something I would love to see

I have been reading a lot of posts from people specifically talking about the game constantly trading Aaron Judge. I was thinking it would be a neat option if you could (in Commissioner mode) go through any team in the game and click a setting for "Do Not Trade" any specific player (maybe put the box to select this in their Edit section or where you select "Cannot Promote/Demote" section).

This way you could be in charge of the Dodgers, for instance, and still click that you don't want the Yankee's to trade Judge. You could then go and unclick that box in the future if you are okay with him being traded.

May just be a way to keep certain players you know would never be traded from being moved. Sounds simple obviously but I am sure there are coding complexities to it. Just thought I would throw it out there!

Great version OOTP! Loving it so far!

I’ve been wanting this feature for years.

There are some players who are so identified with their teams that, when playing historical leagues, I want them to remain with those teams. Banks should always be with the Cubs, Aaron should always remain with the Braves (until the end of his career), Mantle, DiMaggio, Jeter, Mattingly are Yankees, Ted Williams belongs to the Red Sox, Clemente is a Pirate, Kaline is a Tiger, etc.

The feature would be entirely optional. No one would ever be forced to use. Those who have no problems seeing Sandy Koufax with the Astros still get to see it happen. Those of us who accept historical changes (after all, why else would we be playing), but want specific exceptions get what we want.

I don’t see how adding this feature wouldn’t be a win-win situation. If you want it, it’s there. If you’re not interested, you can ignore it.

PLEASE add this!!!!

I believe you can already do this. Currently I do not have the game in front of me but if I recall correctly the toggle is in the individual player strategy. There you can click the 'never trade this player' toggle.

Either that or just go into the editor and click on "No Trade Clause" to give them a no trade clause with their team
