Kudos to The Wolf!
I used the settings you recommended on here and this is the most realistic I've ever seen OOTP. Thank you! I really appreciate everyone's feedback and suggestions, but your recommendations are the ones that I would rank at the top. Kudos, sir!

Excellent request. The Wolf's wisdom spans a great area of expertise.

Either 10/60/20/10 or 0/67/22/11.

Wolf, I am holding your paws to the fire (while not in the least denying the thread title). You are talking about the settings below. How can you recommend such divergent settings?
EDIT: I should clarify. Two part question, then: Please briefly tell us why you significantly diverge from default and then why you offer two different sets which don't in fact diverge from each other very much.

I have found, heuristically, that having the AI make totally/primarily performance-based player evaluations leads to more realistic transactions. I am not alone at this. I am a big advocate of 0/67/22/11, but I'm currently getting really good results with 10/60/20/10.

Sir Bedevere: And what do you burn, apart from witches?
Peasant 1: More witches. Peasant 2: Wood. Sir Bedevere: Good. Now, why do witches burn? Peasant 3: ...because they're made of... wood? Sir Bedevere: Good. So how do you tell whether she is made of wood? Peasant 1: Build a bridge out of her!

Check the "Overall rating based on AI evaluation, not pure ratings" box in Settings, switch your AI evaluation settings to 10/60/20/10 or 0/67/22/11, and be sure and click the "Apply changes now" line in blue immediately underneath the AI evaluation settings.

Wolf, Thanks for the reminder on checking the line in blue. It's very easy to overlook.

I list that because people won't click it and will then yell, "These settings didn't make any difference!" Well, of course not, they never implemented them. And don't forget that checkbox in Settings either! Just changing the AI numbers by themselves gets you nothing. You have to do all three. Afterwards, watch the changes in stars and trade value. It also stops aging veterans who are still performing from being cut/demoted once their ratings begin to slip.
