I would like to see teams be sold from time to time. Just not realistic for a team to be passed down from father to son over and over over a span of hundreds of years.

Or even an American corporation. Maybe even a broadcasting firm.

OOTP owners are the digital version of the Wilpons. No matter what you do -- Ponzi scheme, sexual harassment lawsuit, god-awful team, fan unrest -- the family just won't go away!

If you're the commissioner you can make them go away...

Yea, but you have to overwrite them and it's not noted in your history
Wish there was an option in TEAM SETTINGS where you could replace the Owner and the AI prompts you to chose Death,Sale,Banned or other. Then it takes you to the storyline option where you could choose 10 different storylines per choice (except OTHER where you would have to create your own from scratch) |

Well, I actually did write Bud a letter about removing Loria for the good of the game and later on another one about doing the same thing to the Wilpons. Didn't get an answer back to either one.

Its strange that owners die but players live for ever,if players croaked you could have a daily 'They who served' feature in the newspaper.

Maybe when a player is drafted, they inject some kind of serum into them that makes them immortal?

You can't answer something you never read in the first place.
