Building Stadiums
I get that it would be too difficult to have us design stadiums but I think team's building stadiums should be a bigger part of the game. If you're playing for a team with a old stadium your owner could decide to build a new stadium. When the owner does this you should be able to give opinions to the owner for what type of stadium should be built like if you'd prefer the new stadium to be hitter/pitcher friendly, dome or open, etc etc. This could be set up like the NBA2K series where the owner asks your opinion on issues. Depending on how controlling your owner is they could either use your suggestions or do whatever they want.
Along with building the new stadium your owner should be able to set goals based on when the new stadium will open. For example If you're a rebuilding team the owner could give a goal that the team should be ready to compete by the time the stadium opens.
Right now when teams relocate they just move right away. There should be two options for the team to go when relocating. Either they do the Oakland Raider strategy and stay in your home city while announcing they're moving and waiting for the new stadium to open. Or the team could opt to move and use an already built older stadium while they wait for the new stadium to open (I'll call this the LA Rams/Chargers strategy). With the first strategy attendance could drop while the team plays out the final year or two before moving. With the second option there could be lower attendance do to the stadium being old and not as nice. This 2nd strategy could also be applied to expansion teams.
Sound possible?
