OOTP Lost FOCUS ?
I frequently visit the forums hoping for news about OOTP 20, specifically for on line game play and it seems OOTP is focused only on the Perfect Team Players...........that seems to be their money maker and I am concerned the future for On line leagues is on the back burner . Does anyone else see this in the same manner ?

Not really. They have multiple times mentioned that the Perfect Team and OOTP development teams are separate.
The Perfect Team game has definitely brought life to the forums in the existence of many new posters and a very active forum. However, there is not any evidence that this has or will negatively affect the core game. We've never tended to get much information about the new release very much ahead of time. |

If you frequently visit the forums, then surely you've read this - http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...d.php?t=297904 ?
In specific, Markus' comments in post #35 of that thread. They should alleviate your concerns about the focus of the developer. |

I'm new to OOTP so i don't really know but the perception i get is basically the forum is more active with perfect team like someone said.. i'm not sure why, i guess its more interactive? I've not played it or the core game really but there's not much to say about OOTP unless you're asking questions or posting your sims.

personally don't think they've lost focus. Rather are expanding their focus with a changing (emerging?) audience. time will tell if it has dire consequences or if this is a platform for the core game to soar ever higher.
