Do you read or listen to play by play??
I had asked this a few weeks ago and I think it got buried as a second question....
When a game is going, do you just read the play by play in the box or do you actually listen to the robotic woman's voice doing it. I tend to listen to it to be honest. It just seems bland with the words scrolling and that's it. |

If you're able, you ought to upgrade to Windows 8.1 or 10. The TTS feature is much improved and the male voice is much more pleasant to hear.

i would not suggest moving to win8.1 or 10 for that reason.
10 is intrusive and bulky. it's slow to load (and i have an SSD) even after streamlining it. it's settings are still stuck between the old way and the new way, which makes finding things a pain in the @#$. out of the box, it used to default to sharing your internet by sending updates to other win users... wtf? alot of bad omens with that thing. 8.1? the one that had to have a major update because it was so borked out of the box? i wouldn't touch that with someone else's d%#$. under the hood it's essentially the same OS at 7. not sure aobut 10, i think that's kind of a transition OS. it'll soon be a cross platform OS's for all the digital devisces they stamp their name on. in the meantime it will be junk, lol. maybe google for addons or ways to improve it without changing OS. |
