Bob Tewksbury played 13 years for the Phillies, Indians, Yankees, Blue Jays, A's, and Twins going 103-127 with a 4.70 ERA in 264 starts and 2022 innings with 879 strikeouts. Dale Murphy played 15 years for the Tigers and the Pirates hitting .268/.338/.454 with 270 home runs and 1009 RBIs with 1638 hits. He was a 2-time All Star and Gold Glover winning an MVP in 1983.

He was a 6-time All Star, 5-time Gold Glover, and won 12 MVP awards and was inducted to the Hall in 1949 Joe DiMaggio played 16 years for the Red Sox hitting .325/.399/.571 with 475 home runs and 1776 RBIs and 2873 hits. He was a 9-time All Star and a 10-time Gold Glover and won 4 MVPs being inducted to the Hall in 1958.

Hal McRae spent 6 years with the Angels and White Sox before a torn labrum ended his career. He hit .271/.335/.429 with 92 home runs and 472 RBIs and getting 944 career hits. He was a 2-time All Star. Jim Merrit spent 11 years with the Red Sox and Cardinals compiling a 110-71 record in 353 games (212 starts) with 1805 innings pitched and 1268 strikeouts. He was a 1-time All Star. Don Gullet spent 13 years with the Royals and Yankees compiling a 108-107 record in 278 starts and 2050 innings with 1315 strikeouts. He was a 4-time All Star and won 2 Gold Gloves.
