One spot left. It'll either be Seattle or Montreal. Edgar Martinez or Tim Raines. Draft is going to be March 1st, the launch day for OOTP4.

The league is now full. Please contact me if you would like to be on the waiting list. Turnover in the 1st year is bound to happen, so it may be soon when you can get into the league.

The Baseball Maelstrom site is back up! The switch to the new server is complete. Not all of the site is uploaded yet, but most of the important stuff is.

It's pulling up fine on this end. It may be because it just got switched over so hasn't fully propogated to all of the servers around the internet yet. One good note - it's very quick.

Two calendar years and 8 seasons later and my Dodgers finally advanced in the playoffs for the first time!

Congratulations on two years!

When you originally launched Maelstrom the concept struck me as wholly original and with huge potential. Glad to see things are still going strong.

FOBL has sent a gift basket of steaks, which should arrive in a few days. You should probably eat them pretty quickly as I am guessing the ice I stuck in there with them is already melted...

Congrats on the tenure Shane and Shannon.

The Maelstrom was my first online league. It is definitely one of the good ones.

Sit Ubu sit, good boy

Thanks for compliments everyone!!! Hopefully this is something of a lifetime project for us. Who knows who will be the greatest team by 2204

Congratulations to Woodchuck on his Detroit Tigers victory over Legends Dodgers team in the World Series. Ty Cobb vs Sandy Koufax and Jackie Robinson isnt a bad thing, even if Cobb slides in cleats up.

Spleen, just checked those pictures of Hannah and I don't know what you think but there is a possibility of her having a foot fetish when she is older, but maybe you don't want to think about that, nevermind I didn't say anything, just put it out of memory.

Just make sure to backup all of the league info and put it into a safety deposit box before we die, so that when our clones are brought to life in the year 2700 we don't have to start over. Hopefully they will still have cd readers then.

Heck, by then we'll be sitting in a virtual dugout managing our OOTP teams. I can already hear the complaints ,"This game is so unrealistic! Everyone knows that Bob Smith doesn't have facial hair!"
