Iron men: Consecutive games played

What is the longest streak of consecutive games you have seen anyone play in any of your leagues?

My iron man is always a 1B or 3B or DH and they seem to be able to go 2 or 3 seasons straight IF no injuries. Those 3 positions seem to be the least fatigue positions in this game.

Well, I usually give everyone a couple days off during the season, so it's not exactly a streak, but my current 1B/occasional DH has never played less than 157 games in his 8-year career, barring his rookie season. I'm sure there was a DtD injury or two in there, but he's never landed on the DL.

Of course, now that I've pointed that out, he's sure to go down for the year soon.

This guy has started at least 521 games in a row in my fictional league (158 game schedule). It's actually possible that he's never missed a game since being called up, I don't have the game logs for 2027.

I like to think of his personality description as ironic.

Consecutive games played would be another nice addition to add to the streaks page in League Statistics.

MBWBA Bo Jordan of Halifax has played in at least 1,782 games, mostly as DH (417 of them were at 1B). It could be as high as 1,900 depending on what happened his rookie year

The human body doesn't take approximately 1,090 consecutive *games started* at first base too well, apparently.
