2 things
1 - It would be a good idea to include some kind of ''league rules'' on the manager desk somewhere. Not everyone knows the in-and-outs of how the SM-liiga opperates and it would make things easier if we knew right from the get-go how many teams makes the playoffs, how many imports we can dress, etc
2 - Can someone explain how the rating format works? I mean how can a guy in the SM-liiga have 5-star ability and 5-star potential? Is he just as good as Ovechkin? I mean wouldn't it be just easier to rate players on a 0-100 scale? Most NHLers would be between 75-95, AHLers 60-75, juniors 30-70, KHL 60-90, etc something like that. As well, how does it work if a guy like Crosby has 5-star ability and 5-star potential? I mean, will he get to 6-star or something? Why is his potential so damn high? (not necessarily him but most players in the game are built like that). |

I had to Google the postseason tournament for the Swedish leagues, so I feel ya.
One of the devs can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the star ratings are relative to the league they are currently playing in. For example, I have only one player on my ECHL team (I am managing) that is below 3 stars ability, yet when running an NHL franchise, most guys in the AHL won't show 3 stars.
