The roll continues! Christy Mathewson allowed no earned runs and the Superbas beat the Pirates 3-1.

That is six wins in a row for Brooklyn and 17 games in a row with a hit for Cale Bernard.

Donie Bush, who was drafted in the 3rd round last November, broke his elbow in March. He was expected to be out of action for seven months.

Nearly five months in, he suffered a setback severe enough that he now needs surgery. It is now unclear whether he will be clear to play at the start of NEXT season.
