1939 Tar Heel League has two teams called the Gastonia Cardinals. The game treats them as one, meaning they have twice as many games as anyone else in the league.

Have checked the MILBteams file and they're only listed once, so more likely a bug than a database issue but just wanted to raise it to see if anyone else has had similar issues.

It is a reported bug that can happen to any team in any league in any year. It does not appear to be reproducible. If it ever is then it could get fixed.

Thanks for that - no big deal considering WW2 came along and wiped the league out!

Just found another possible duplicate player:

Hector Rodriguez (rodrig001hec and rodrihe01 major league ID)
Hector X Rodriguez (rodri044hec)

They are both 1944 New York Cubans players with the same birthday (13 June 1920) but have different stats, so possibly different players with an incorrect birthday or just a flat out zany coincidence that they were born on the same day as each other!

Seems that Dave Stewart, stewada01, is incorrectly listed as Caucasian, not African.

Ratings are game produced not a data item so not fixed. 19/100 would not seem to be out of line? He was stealing 20-30 bases per year as a youngster.

I show him as East Indian. Imported last year.

You are probably mixing him up with Dave "Hindu" Henderson.

Turns out there were 10,700 East Indians in the standard game database. These will be updated for OOTP 19.

The historical database only has 8. 5 of which are for sure correct.

Apologies if this has been asked before, but why don't Cuban players load as Cuban nationality? (Or am I the only person this happens to, has occurred in multiple games). I go through and update the ones who made the majors manually, but probably missing some minor leaguers.

(Or as I've just discovered, Nicaraguans).

There are a gazillion and a half Cubans in my test league so I am unaware of a specific challenge nor do I know what setting might cause this.

Is a specific example available I could check?

Starting a 2016 replay, Aroldis Chapman begins the year on the Chicago Cubs. This happens whether or not "real transactions" is checked. As a Nats fan, I find this greatly distressing. He causes enough problems without spending the entire season in the NL.

imported with no birth years in my imported 1948 league. They showed up with an age of zero. The baseball reference pages show birth years of April 19, 1919 for Smith; and 1933 for Rosato. Nothing for Farrar.
