Destroyed my game??

I downloaded just the executable files of patch ver9.2.13 ......and unzipped (& so replaced) the files......
now the game won't run ...shortcut path problem?.... no, game won't run from .exe files within the game folders either...

I downloaded the full install & plan to run this tomorrow..... now...where are the back-ups placed .....the ones I just made prior to that install?

Sounds terrible but....I don't want to lose these leagues...I made one for each...wasn't paying so close attention to where they were...

I used to COPY the whole folder....BUT...knew the install WAS just executable files...in my Program folders...the data & saved games...and everything would be in my My Documents folder.....

So tomorrow I install the whole game again?....zeez

Neither patching nor uninstalling nor reinstalling should affect your saved games. They will still be there unless you delete them.

I haven't had to best luck with Baseball Files.... but, Yes, these are still here on my game along with my first on-line league...which needed the Patching...

I hate that I spent months playing the season (Phillies 2008....so you know it was great!) & then a glitch (on AOL with game open/minimized) corrupts the League.... & the other League I'd put all my time into!!

But...I guess I'm preaching to the choir...."We Know. We know."
