Hello!

I applied on the new applicants board, but noticed that before my own post, there was only one other post in the year 2005, the rest in all of the forum were from 2004, and I'm not sure if I was in the right place or not? If not could you please provide a link!

Thanks!

MBBA Washington Bobwhites available!

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. For the last 13 seasons two things have remained the same in the MBBA: the Washington Bobwhites are good, and Allen Rainey has been their owner. They are the only team to win three championships in league history. Allen has been a steady, active owner for many years but at this point his school obligations are growing too large for him to continue at the level he's grown accustomed to. Therefore, the Monty Brewster Baseball Association (MBBA) is now looking for the 2nd owner in Bobwhites history.

The Washington Bobwhites are in a semi-rebuilding mode now, but still have exciting players such as OF Jose Primo and 1B Jason Bilford on board. The owner that gets this team is in a good position financially and could really turn things around quickly.

The MBBA itself is a very active "writing league" which encourages and rewards activity through writing articles, features, etc. on our forums. Come over, register for our Forums, and visit the New Applicants section if you are interested in becoming a part of this league. I really look forward to meeting some new people who might be interested in seeing just how intense and enjoyable a fictional league can be.

Not in the MBBA myself, but it's worth noting that this is the most storied franchise in one of the all-time great OOTP leagues. Surprised they're needing to advertise the slot on the big board, and more surprised that no one's taken it yet.

Wanted: GM for MBBA- active fictional!!!

Seems to be the winds of change in the Monty Brewster Baseball Association (MBBA) this season. I now have another opportunity for someone to get on board with one of the most interesting and active fictional leagues in the community!

The Calgary Marauders have been atop the traditionally weak Frick League Pacific for some time now. This year, the entire division is weak! However, Calgary has a very attractive marquee player in top slugger 1B Bombo Vadabonceour, slugging shortstop Jack Hanski , and legendary pitcher Micheal Mangual .

The MBBA is more than just a league, it's a close knit community of people that make this league fun. If you like to write you owe it to yourself to check this league out.

If you aren't in the MBBA you are missing out. Generally a good group of people, nice competitive atmosphere, and plenty of activity. Certainly worth a look.

Yes. That way I don't get any bots and I know who's been by. I hope you'll stop by, Matt!

The MBBA is much better than Cats. I'll participate in it again and again.

I took a more in-depth look at the franchise and their potential future. Check and see what could await you there.

Plus, you get me as a rival!

Which isn't saying much, I know. But you do get to whoop up on me. Which may or may not be your idea of a good time. But still. Check us out.
