In-Game Screenshots from OOTP 13
Hey guys,
ahead of our road to release artcile covering screenshots (due later today): We have redesigned the in-game screen in OOTP 13, replacing the default and widget views with an improved widget-based view called "BNN Broadcast". The main attraction of this screen is that it (optionally) automatically adjusts to your current screen resolution, resulting in a much cleaner look than the widget screen in previous versions. Of course, you may still opt to set up the screen in any way you like, moving the widgets around and selecting different size options. The Out of Town Scores Widget has gained a new size setting, when set to maximum it displays the complete info available from the Real-Time Simulation Mode. Here are a few examples, using different screen resolutions: 1024 * 768: 1280 * 1024: 1920 * 1200: |

I really like this development. I pre-ordered yesterday and now I am even more glad that I did

They do look nice and are great "out of the box" setups but I am glad Markus left in the option for us to setup our own screen. I've spent a lot of time getting just the right look for my taste and style of play so will continue to use the widgets.

I like the field picture with just the names. Is that an option for bigger screens (1280 * 1024)?

No, that's just when the ball animation is active.

Love the weather notification at the top of the field screen. Really helpful IMHO.

One thousand thank-you's for finally removing the circular cropping of the player images!!!!
I'll give you another thousand thank-you's if you tell us that we can change the facegen view of the players on the field, or at least that it matches the default facegen view already configured in the current game. |

+1 on the new field pics. I will start including them.
Does leave game still mean save game during pbp? |

In this case I entered the game from real time simulation mode, so I just return to the live screen when I hit "leave". Saving & resuming is still available if you started the game the 'normal' way.

Oh, ok. The game keeps playing in the real-time mode. I don't need to sim through the end of the game. That's nice. It's possible to watch one game after another while they're playing in real time. This whole thing is very nice.

Keep in mind though when you enter a game and watch it, the other games progress in the background. However, you can check all the scores etc. in the "BNN Network"-screen, which has the same layout as the real time sim scores screen.

Oh yeah. My favorite thing in the game is watching pbp with real players. I'm more into personalities and nostalgia than stats. I can just see how much time I'll be spending on this one feature watching different games all day long. My wife is going to get a real dislike for you I'm sure.

I like the non-circular pictures, but I kinda wish the name/ratings box was the same height as the picture.

I must say it looks good EXCEPT I miss the FaceGen backgrounds. Those on that blue background looks like a step backwards to me. I realize that they are transparent but, in that case, it doesn;t look "finished"
