PT Team Across Multiple Computers
Hey Everyone,
I asked in Discord but did not have much of a response. I purchased OOTP20 and received the license which could be used on two devices. I have been playing PT for the past couple of weeks on my one computer and just installed the license on my second computer. However, when using the same login on the second computer, my PT team is not there and it reset to where I was able to open 6 packs and start with 1000PP. I thought I could access my team across devices as long as I login with the same username/password? Anyone else have this issue? Thanks!

No, I use both PT 19 and PT 20 on two different computers interchangeably.

I purchased a second copy of the game and used that to create my second set of teams. Once I did that, I then use my original copy of the game on two different computers and have had no trouble accessing my six teams from either one. So you definitely have something strange going on.

The process to use multiple game copies is weird at best.
I originally had PT19 on Steam - then bought PT20 from eSellerate. When I thought I might want to add 3 new PT teams, I bought a second copy of PT20, but on Steam. So far, the two PT20s only see the original teams and won't let me add any new ones. Lukas is checking into why, but I have a sneaky feeling the combination of multiple copies only works in certain combinations. I think they both have to be eSellerate versions to add new teams. Strange - my 1st copy of PT20 was purchased through Steam. I registered 3 teams with it. I then purchased a second copy through eSellerate and installed it on my desktop computer. I used that second copy to register my second 3 teams. Since then I've only logged in using my steam copy, both on my desktop and on a laptop I have in another part of the house. And I've had no issues (knock wood).

I did it in reverse... bought my first copy of v20 from eSellerate - my 2nd copy on Steam (which does not have a license number). The PT servers can't see the difference. Just guessing but it seems to make sense. |

So I just went back to my original copy (First licensed) of OOTP20 on my first computer and my PT team completely reset. It's like I never played PT. I had over 38k in PP and a whole team. No longer there :-(

None of the accounts/data/user issues matter which computer or license you log in from. I would double-check that you're using the same username that you thought - especially if you had the "remember my info" checked, it can be easy to forget that you logged into "Matt2" and have been playing on that account for the last few weeks, instead of your other account.
If you are having troubles, I would suggest going through the support ticket system (http://support.ootpdevelopments.com/...Tickets/Submit). Include as much detail as you can (emails that you use, account names, whether you had accounts in 19 as well), and hopefully they can sort it all out. |
