Quick-Sell Bug?

uhm ... I just quick sold my deGrom because I anticipated a downgrade and he still was at 100 and the quick-sell message even said that I'd get 20000 PP ... I only got 4000 though. When I logged out and back in deGrom was at 99.

I hope I can get my 16000 PP back though because I obviously didn't want to quick-sell him for 4000PP. The game tricking you into losing lots of PP is no fun.

Sounds like one or more display bugs. The ratings update really early on Mondays (like, whenever I've logged in on Mondays, 5:30 AM EDT, they are updated), so he was already a 99 this morning. He should have displayed as a 99 on the card and 4k should have been the payout (as it was).

I did report this many weeks ago and with the next update after they did change the screen when you sell cards to add an asterisk with text down the bottom that the quick sell price may change after ratings live update.

Yes, now that I fully understand what you did, it seems more likely to be bad timing (right when they did the live update?).

As mentioned, bad timing but not a bug. Fixing it would not be straight forward either because if they allow the displayed price to be the price regardless of the timing of the update, there would be the potential for possible exploit if it can be described as an exploit (leaving the screen up for a while before deciding). If not refunded, it's definitely a hard lesson to learn (don't wait until too long). If able, I try to go through the players Sunday night to sell those I think might take a drop to another level.

Update: I opened a support ticket yesterday and just a few minutes ago Lukas replied that they'll credit those points back. Awesome customer service, tbh I didn't expect to get anything back. Thanks a lot!

I'm a strict ftp player but that service has to be honored. I'll put a few bucks into the game to show my support!
