Very cool. But it doesn't look like the park matches with the photo.

Ahh, The Trolley Dodgers are born. Nice. If you hit the sign in way deep center, you win $10.

Silvam.....

aha....I was waiting to see who would notice it.....Eastern Pk has no right field fence basically.....it looks like it was 700 ft or more. So as I have always wanted the original 1923 Yankee Sta bleachers modeled as was, they were wood and stayed that way until 1929. Therefore its Eastern Pk with a twist. I n 1928 the Yankees moved home plate out 30 ft.....to make the 1928 dimensions in Yankee Sta 312 ft to RF.....445CF....... and 293 ft to left...........the Eastern Pk distance to left was very similar. LC- 488 RC-404...............

Lots of interesting reading on this park. Could not find any definite thing on the outfield dimensions. Only that it was very large and often muddy. I did find a reference to the left field being extended from about 251 to about 330 ft. It was stated the owner was tired of all the cheap homeruns "every 3 or 4 innings".

Funny how some parks you can't find much on and others all kinds of info.

Zappa.....

true very little info..but I know the ballpark was put down by people for being too far away, which was Brooklyn at the time. It had no trolleys in reality serving it, but it did have an elevated subway.I killed 2 birds with 1 stone with this.....Iam not sure how the 3d would handle a 700 ft outfield, and I figured these were big enough dimensions.
