So, if you tell me if there are backgrounds for Silvam's parks that you would like for a historical(S) park tell me and I will transfer them. If you have Sketchup, you can can open the the park that you want use the background from, select the base and the two picture then go to edit and select copy and then go the open the Sketchup file for the fictional park that you want it in and select paste in place from edit. You may have to adjust the position some times. I can give you a run down of how I do it from scratch if you want but I don't know how well I can describe it. Do you have sketchup?

Not trying to add an extra project for you, but have you thought about a short tutorial on how to do this in sketch up? Like the one I did when I built Sportsmans park? That would be great to try to get others into background work and also an intro to sketch up for those that don't use it now. Just a thought

No problem. If you have one of the fictional parks that you use a lot, let me know which one and I will put a background on it.

Fenway Parks redo

I have re-done the backgrounds. I tried to make 3 parks of different era's. 47 to 88 is just 88 to 01 with older signs. I put Silvam's 70's version int the 76-87 era. You,obviously, can use them however you like. I was going to do a pre-47 version as 47 is when the Green Monster was put in but I was not able to find a park of that era.

How to make bacgrounds.

A while back Silvam suggested that I write up a 'How to' explanation of how I make the backgrounds in case any one wants to have a go at it. Since he hasn't sent out a new stadium since yesterday, I have written one up and it is attached. It took me quite a while to figure this out but it got easier with time. Of course, it is subject to change as time goes by and I, hopefully, get more proficient with it. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.

Oh, they keep getting better and better. I can't keep track. Have you done any of the fictional parks yet, adion?

I did Arsenal because someone asked for it. If there are some fictional parks you, or anyone else, want backgrounds for let me know which ones and what kind of backgrounds you want. Since I try and make my backgrounds on pictures I can find, I don't know what to use on fictional ones, i.e. cityscapes, landscapes, etc.

There was an error in para. 19.b. You use Copy from the Edit menu not Save from the File menu. Attached is the corrected copy.

That's the beauty of fictional, to me anyway. You're the artist. Run free. Use your imagination. Trust me, I'll use anything you create. Like hanging that cool painting on my wall. My world, the Covenant, is pretty surreal anyway. You could have a large eye looming in the horizon, staring down, surrounded by a leaf-filled sky and I know there'd be a team suitable for use.

Or any landscape really. Just fueling your imagination. You've done great!
