AI Making Roster Moves with Manual Control specified
Simulating through the Stanley Cup final in 1918.
The AI assumed promote/demote rights on my roster, put my DTD injured defenceman on the IR, and then called up a replacement level scrub. Seems to be tied to the coding of the Stanley Cup competition, and the team control settings not being appropriately applied. This only happens during the Stanley Cup. https://imgur.com/a/Xn3PA |

Did you use "AI setup organization"?
AI moves and the settings are not tied to Cups or anything. Can you remember when it happened, e.g. when you entered the game or did you just simulate and after it was finished the AI made the moves?

I simulate hands off, settings shown below. https://imgur.com/a/A6OAz My user story was essentially this: I entered the Stanley Cup (1917-1918) against a PCHA team I had an injured player on my roster (Joe Hall - game unavailable DTD injury) I hit continue game to simulate game 1 of the series AI manager put Joe Hall (Norris winner that year by the way) on the IR, forcing him to miss the 3rd and 4th games of the series for which he would have been available. Calls up an 11th forward (Evariste Payer) which is supplementary to requirements (10) I have a few theories: Something around the Stanley Cup competition with the WCHL, perhaps roster requirements, is triggering this activity (which by the way, the effort expended to pull this off is duly noted and appreciated) Hope that helps, it's not a gamebreaker but it's goddamn annoying. It's a good thing I play as the powerhouse Habs so I could miss half my team and still kick the **** out of Portland haha |
