Help Creating Fictional League
Hi everybody! I'm brand new to OOTP this year. I started a league with the Red Sox! But I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed with a full 30-team league with about 6 levels of minors as well. With that said, I'm looking to downsize by creating a 16-team fictional league with just three levels of minors for each team.
As I'm setting up the league, I am focused on adding the appropriate number of feeder leagues. I saw the thread on appropriate feeder leagues but then I was reading that people were making four different college leagues and two different high school leagues if they needed six feeder leagues. Is that better to do or could you just make one college league and one high school league. I just want to make sure I set this up appropriately so that I can get started with my career in this great game. |

There isn't really a "better" way to do it. The important thing is you have enough teams to provide players for your draft.
In your case, for a 16 team league with 3 levels of minors you're looking at 40 feeder teams. So you could do 1 C and 1 HS league with 20 teams in each league. Or you could have 2 C and 2 HS with 10 in each league. |

Help Creating Fictional League
Thank you for the quick response. I knew I needed 40 teams but didn't know how to break it up. Are there any pros and cons to having one large college/high school feeder league or two smaller ones?

I don't think so, at least I've never seen anything in my experiences to indicate otherwise.
