Classic Baseball Union 2.0

Someone out there will be proud that the file for our first league collapsed, and the backups all crashed at the same spot, going two season's back even. Crazy. Anyway, the league decided to stay together and restart in OOTP12. What we did was create a new fresh league, simulated it 28 years forward, and we're all taking over whatever our OOTP AI GMs allowed us to grab.

I have written a back story, kept updates through the simulated years of history and will continue to fill it in as we get going with our normal simulation. The most amazing thing, is that during this 6 week hiatus, all 20 owners are still around and active. If that's not a testament to how awesome this league family is, I don't know what is.

Unfortunately there will always be a time when someone needs to leave the league so I will start this thread now in-case people are interested in following a good fun story. We're not near as writing heavy as some, but we have our own fun.

We have our first opening in months (real-time). Here's your chance to get into a real active community/league. If you're not a message board person, this league is not for you. If you're easily offended. This league is not for you. Otherwise its a pretty successful league that enjoys having fun, sometimes at other's expense. The Durham Dragons are available, they're also currently up in the amateur draft, with the 2nd overall pick.

I haven't been apart of the CBU, but I have worked with JWay on a quickstart he did a while back. He is a hell of a guy and even sent me a gift certificate for the work I did. If I had the extra time I would join the CBU in a heartbeat.

The Wisconsin Cheese are open. Anyone interested should post here or send a PM to JWay or myself. We're currently in the offseason so this is a good chance to make an immediate impact on the team as you'll be joining right during the free agency period and just before the Rule 5 draft.

This is an excellent league that is run really well. We don't have a lot of turnover so this is a rare opportunity. Yeah, it's still v12 but we'll be moving to v13 at some point. Probably after the coming 2024 season.

So come help us fill the league out.
