I had a player injured for 3-4 weeks, when he twisted his ankle tripping over a table in his hotel room - strange, but funny!

I had a player miss a couple weeks after being mugged. He hit really poorly when he came back, I guess he's having psychological problems, PTSD.

That's pretty cool.

Not sure if this counts but I had a player get injured with Heat Stroke and miss three days. The game was April 5th in Pittsburgh with a temperature of 41 degrees. I'm terrified of bringing him on any southern road trips.

And let's not forget the original bizarre baseball injury: John Smoltz injured himself ironing a shirt he was wearing.

Lot of good real-life strange injuries in here too:

The weirdest injuries in baseball history - The Week

Also, I forget who it was, but didn't some guy injure himself tucking his son into bed?
