Trading future salaries?
Any chance of seeing the option to pick up a portion of a players future salary to make him more palatable as a trade piece? This has become such a common occurance in MLB, I would love to see it in the game.
Currently we can only send cash on hand in a trade. I would like to offer to pick up, oh say, $15MIL of a player's remaining 3 years $25MIL. In this case, I would then have $5MIL automatically added to my player expenses for the next three years while the players trade value becomes that of a player with 3 years $10MIL remaining. |

Similarly, if you release a player, the salary shouldn't be charged all at once, but paid as scheduled. Ditto, for career-ending injuries where the salary to be paid just disappears.
