Question Expansion Not Working

In both OOTP 19 and OOTP 20 - I'm having an issue with expanding my online fictional league from 16 to 20 teams. This is a test league I'm working with so I don't screw up the real league.

I go to the Expansion Wizard and add 4 teams - name all of them, assign divisions, adjust budgets, etc.

Since I'm testing I went into the original 16 teams to use AI created protection lists and submitted them.

When I advance a day to 'start the draft' it won't ever start. Am I missing something?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you take screenshots of this. I test expansion drafts and creations frequently.

Do you have schedule expansion draft checked when you expand?

I could but there's not really an error or anything. The way it should work is I set everything up - hit advance day and it should be there right?

One thing that's different that maybe has an effect? My amateur draft date is in the offseason also (Nov 14th). Could it be clashing with that?

Yes - I definitely do that. The expansion draft is there and the protection lists and whatnot. But it's supposed to be the next day and it never schedules.

Solved my problem (I think). I can do my expansion in the offseason but the game won't have the actual expansion draft until the "preseason" starts. Didn't realize that.

Yes the last few versions should have the expansion draft scheduled a few days after Free Agents file and are announced.

This change was made specifically to prevent the expansion teams from drafting expiring (or arb-eligible) players, which screwed up the AI a bit.
