I'm starting up a new league that will be low intensity and full of noobs. League website is here:

League communications will be on the following message board:

Shaggybevo Baseball League (OOTP Text Sim)

...mostly in a thread dedicated to the league each season and communications between GMs on PMs there. This is because this league was started based on some light interest from existing members on that forum. We are going to aim for three sims a week (7 game days each during the season). Financials are straight out of the box except entire revenue is available and cash maximum is set very high. The cash max may change if we don't get very many human owners. Structure and rosters are start of 2013, it's changed since the first post on that thread.

NCAA and Texas High School feeder leagues are included for the draft pool. Scouts but no coaches. Every team has 4 minor league teams (AAA, AA, A, and R).

Everything is up for discussion, though, and as mentioned the activity requirements will not be very high, so if you're looking for a highly involved active league with a thousand rules and nightly chats this isn't for you.

Now that I've turned off all the dedicated OOTP gamers

Yes, plenty of teams are available. AIM won't really be used unless you and another owner agree to it. I've installed a league chat (link on the menu of the website).

Bumpity bump. Still plenty of openings. I realize that the nature of the league will make recruiting owners a consistent theme due to the lower activity level of the league. We just finished the first season and we're heading into the first full offseason. Just updated to the latest patch.
