I'm almost embarrassed to offer this as a mod, but . . .

The default cold player icon looks strange to me, like a ship's wheel or a compass. It should look cold, like an ice cube!

So here is what I am using. I think it looks good, a strong contrast to the hot player flames.

You have to have downloaded and installed one of the skins through Add-Ons Central. Find the skins folder where the game is installed, go to the images folder within the folder* of the skin(s) that you regularly use, and copy this pic over the default file named player_status_cold.png.

Don't forget to delete skins.bin. That will force the game to build another one the next time you start the game.

*Sample path (Windows): C:\Program Files (x86)\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 13\data\skins\ootp 13\images

funny, never thought twice of the snowflake until you called it out. Now, I can't stand to look at it. Loading your ice cube tonight. Great contribution. It's the little things that matter! Thx!

I used this for all 3 skins, but only the dark skin rebuilt the skin.bin file, the default and classic skins still work, but since that skin.bin file is not there, it takes longer for the game to load up.

Very odd...
