Thanks for the picture of Sammy Walker, he was my hero as a kid in Springfield, MA. He fought everybody and usually gave a good account of himself. He use to give me his box seats for the Giants minor league baseball team in Springfield. His two fights with Andre Tessier sold out the Holyoke Valley Arena. He would always stop and talk boxing with you if you had any questions. It's hard to recognize him in that pic but it's a start. Thanks for your effort in finding the picture. I'm sure it represents many hours of searching. It's club fighters like Walker who are the heart of boxing. He never made much money, but unlike many of today's over paid heavyweights, he was always in shape and gave an outstanding effort in every fight.

In trying to fix Charley to Charlie in Green, I would up the the following pictures. Charlie Green = Sammy Walker, Charley Chuck Green = himself
and Charley Green = Devil Green. When I go to images it will not allow me to change Charley to Charlie.

Can you post an other picture of Charlie "Devil" Green. I have the spelling correct but still have Sammy Walker's picture for Green. I went throuth the entire posting looking for Green's picture but had no luck finding one.

Thank you for the Green picture from Cube's facepack. That solves the problem of his mug shot.

In a related question what do you think of his rating in TBCB? He has a 26 for punching and counterpunching and a control factor for control of boxer and slugger. Additionally, his hitting power is only 3. This results in a final rating of 1. I thought that Green was a dangerous puncher who had a chance against most heavyweights in his day. Any comments on the rating?
