Located in Bakersfield California, this school is the original high school in Bakersfield, founded in 1893 and being the only high school in town until 1937. This school has a solid history of producing talented baseball players, with 9 players playing professionally and 4 reaching Major League Baseball. Their most accomplished baseball alumni would be 3B Steve Ontiveros, while their most famous alumni without a doubt would be Pro Football Hall of Famer and longtime celebrity Frank Gifford.

Located in Clovis California, the Cougars always produce a strong team, winning Central Section championships in 1995, 1997, 1998, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2014, and 2017. The team was also named California Team of the Year in 1997, 1998, and 2014. Baseball coach James Patrick celebrated his 500th career coaching win in 2008. 24 players have gone onto play professionally from Clovis, including two MLB pitchers, Mark Gardner and Ryan Cook. "The Mad Bomber" NFL QB Daryle Lamonica is also alumni.

Out of Bakersfield California, Centennial is the premier prep baseball program in the Bakersfield area. The team ranked 47th nationally in 2000 with a 26-3 record. Notably, the team has produced 33 players to go on to the next levels of baseball, with 11 having professional careers. Current Brewers pitcher Corbin Burnes is alumni.
