Injury Substitution Bug

I just ran across a very weird bug. One of my players got injured while getting a base hit. Normally, I'd get put into the Substitution screen but I didn't this time. It turned out that another player (who was compatible in position) was put in automatically. It turned out to not be who I wanted so I substituted him out, thus losing him for the rest of the game (which I won 7-1 so it didn't have any impact). Later in the game, another of my players got injured and I got the Substitution screen right away (which is what I expected the first time). I've never seen this automatic behavior before.

At no time did you have the AI handle game decisions? In your settings, did you assign substitution decisions to the AI or yourself?

Fortunately, I have never experienced the bug you found.

I always handle substitutions myself. I've gone through about 6 seasons playing every single game for my team and this is the first time that this has happened. I'm sure that I couldn't duplicate it. It's just one that should be added to the bug list (I assume that one is kept offline by the developers) and just ignored unless others experience the same thing.

Fortunately, this bug seems minor (easy for me to say) and infrequent. My guess is that the developers will find it.
