Current (known in the game simply as "Ability") and Potential Ability (known as just "Potential") is shown for the player under his profile as a 1-10 (with the ability to exceed 10 for very special players). It is also seen in the rosters screen, the far two right columns. These numbers you will see in other screens of the game as well (such as free agency)
The real player ability and the real player potential is hidden but can be seen when commissioner mode is activated through the player edit screen.

Since this is not a EHM forum you should ask this question e.g. on the great forum "The Blue Line", I'm pretty sure you will find help there.

Meh, I sort of did it on purpose. EHM forum seems a little dead, just wanted a fast response.
So there is no way to find out the CA and PA of a player? or like, how do we know if a player is going to do well.. I know its a FHM forum, but i'll get faster replies on here. |

Use the saved game editor or Pre game editor. The Average Rating tells you how a player is performing. Look at the player profile stats, it's the far right column - it tells you a number up to 9.99. Each game a player is evaluated on his performance out of 10.0 and it is averaged together. That's the very simple version of it, if you did a quick search over there you should be able to find out much more on the subject.

Rare EHM 2007 Genie Scout. Anyone have it? ? EHM The Blue Line
You can also use this tool on draft-day or on the 1st of July (or 1st of May for European Leagues). Pretty handy, don't have to look each player up individually, though I use both the SG editor and this thingy. |
