really newbie question..

the rating and potential numbers all have a letter next to them, what does the letter mean exactly? any help understanding this system would be great, thank you!

They represent the accuracy of the rating (E being the least accurate, and A being the most accurate). So there is much more uncertainty with a 9.0e rating than there would be with a 9.0a as an example.

ah, awesome thanks that makes a lot of sence. that is actually pretty cool, so more scouting of the player in question with better scouts can move it from a 9.0e potential to maybe an 8.5a ? cool, also what is the highest potential and skill level? i have seen that mcdavid is like a 10 or 11 potential score but thats the highest ive seen in the game so far.

also, one more question.. i put a player on the IR, but i cant for the life of me figure out how to remove him from the IR and the game keeps reminding me in pop ups that he can be removed from it. how do i take him off it? thanks

under the roster screen, select the Injury list button, right click on the player, and select "to active roster".

awesome, thank you very much! I am really digging into the game now. feels much more stable then the last time i really tried. loving it so far! twords the end of my 2nd season now with the avs
