New crashing problem

I've seen a bunch of people post about this. I've been searching all through the forums about it but usually the thread ends with a MOD saying upload your save file and the poster saying I did. No one replies with a fix or anything like that so I figure I will ask again since i'm having an issue.

After Sebastian got me up and running with the Historic Mode I decided to start in 2000 with the Philadelphia Flyers, managed to build a pretty good team over the first 2 years ( Won the Stanley Cup in 2002-2003, YAY) Then I sim to "June 30: Free Agent File". When I try to go to the next day the game crashes back to desktop.

Playing on a Mac if that helps.

Without looking at the save file it is impossible to check this out. Please follow this guide and let me know when you uploaded the file (and the name of it).

Sebastian,

I just now uploaded the save, the name of it is "FDNHL.lg". Thanks for taking the time to help me out again.

Malte checked the save file and found the problem: a player had a contract extension set in the editor to a team, that does not exist (I guess a later expansion team). This bug is now fixed for future versions (it's not a game bug but a database problem). Malte was also able to fix the problem in your save. He will upload a new player.dat a bit later tonight which you can replace your old one with and then continue your save game.
